Structured alternative

Reflection matters. It does not need to happen every day.

A journal gives you room to write. ChangeLoop 7 gives the writing a job: review one selected method at the end of the week and use that evidence to adjust the next cycle.

How is this different from a journaling app?

ChangeLoop 7 does not ask for daily prose, photos, recordings, or a complete life log. Days one through six record only whether today's small action happened. Day seven asks for one review tied to the method and observable signal chosen at the start.

Side by side

Both can support reflection, but the structure is different.

Why less input

The product separates acting from explaining.

01

Before the week

Complete one fixed intake and choose a method. The product does not interrupt with conversational follow-ups.

02

During the week

Record the current day's status. If it did not happen, use the prepared fallback rather than writing a long explanation.

03

At week-end

Write one review about what happened, what created friction, and what the next cycle should change.

Fit check

Keep the journal if expression is the goal.

A journal is a better fit if

You want unbounded reflection, creative writing, mood notes, memory keeping, or a private place without a fixed action plan.

A weekly experiment may fit if

You keep documenting the same problem but still need to choose one small action and decide what to change after observing it.

One review, one next decision
